ok, ima computer geek, so ill understand some of what u say about electronic stuff, but i need to know more about what to get for subs, i dont want to change my alternator... but id like to get some square l5s or l7s from kicker... with a zx1000/1500.1 however ive been told that i need to change it to accomodate the power it will need for the amp... any suggestions/experiences... also how worth it is it to wreck the look of my dash and get a aftermarket deck..CHOSING SUBS... HELP pl0x?
you dont have to change alternator all you will need is a powerfull capasitor cap this keeps from working the alternator hard and i belive helps the life of the battery you you do get one make sure it has a digital screen so you can read the volt readingsCHOSING SUBS... HELP pl0x?
ur not gonna have to upgrade ur alternator with either of those amps. Im runnin 1500 rms rite now in my Jeep with the stock alternator and 3 caps and having no problems. Ur definitely gonna want an aftermarket deck. stock decks just dont have the tuning options that aftermarket deck have. ur gonna want more options with those subs than just %26quot;Bass up%26quot; and %26quot;Bass down%26quot;. and they make installation a lot easier. look into an alpine or pioneer deck
