hi i need to replace my alternator on my ford mondeo w reg 2000 i can only find 2 bolts does anyone know where the other bolt is located

Hi there there should only be two bolts the adjusting one and the main one which goes through from front hole to rear hole so it is easy to change and as you will only have two wires it should be ok. make sure you don't earth out the main feed so disconnect that cable .JockHow to change a alternator?

There should only be two bolts. One should be the pivot point, the other to lock it in place.
