1992 maxima shell with a 94 motor change the alternator the car jumps from power to comfort how do i solve?

This, in my opinion, has nothing to do with the alternator. Either there is a short in the wiring or you transmission computer (this car has two computers one for the engine and one for the transmission) may be bad. Are you certain that, nobody spilled any water on button. Because that may also cause some problems. Good Luck!!!
